Our Passion
Catch the Mice was created due to a gap in the market, we are experts in the event industry and our passion comes from building exciting positive relationships where we can support event organisers and connect them to suppliers.
We are a representation consultancy, based in the UK, working hard to connect and support Event Professionals with the best meeting solutions in the world.
Our Mission
Historically we have specialised in assisting hotels, venues and destinations gain global MICE business from UK and European buyers. However, during the pandemic, we embraced the challenge, and became the Official Partners of 2 or the world leading virtual/hybrid platforms: Intelligo and VII-Events.
We assist them in their business development and support our fellow event organisers as we all adapt to delivering events in different ways Having worked in the sector for over 3 decades we speak with colleagues on a daily basis, to help assist at this challenging time for LIVE Events. Our previous methods of service delivery have been adapted for today’s global situation. As such, we are currently not pro-actively selling destination hotels / venues to UK buyers who are currently struggling to survive the pandemic, however we are educating them in terms of what can be delivered as we return to normality. This involves supporting hotels / venues and helping them plan and position themselves for the new landscape ahead. Given the recent devastation that Covid-19 has had on our sector, Stuart has just joined the team at EventWell to support their fundraising at this crucial time for our industry.
Stuart commented, “I have seen our industry torn apart during this period. Good people are struggling, both mentally and financially, and I can’t just sit and watch."
EventWell is a not-for-profit social enterprise set up to support the “Mental Health and Wellbeing of the Event Industry”

Sustainability
We recognise the importance of our own business carbon footprint and our industry’s carbon footprint. We have been working with Greengage and ECOsmart on our sustainability journey. We are also launching a digital events calculator in the new year.
Mentoring
Stuart has been working with The Manchester Metropolitan University Events Management team. It is such a honour to be supporting the next generation of event professionals.
The Manchester Metropolitan University's event student and professional networking conference “Events Connect” tooks place at the end of November at Manchester Central Convention Complex, who are kindly hosting the event. Now in its 8th year, this event introduces upcoming University talent to us seasoned #eventprof veterans.
Voluntering
For over a decade, Stuart has worked with the Rotary Club and Glastonbury. He has recruited, nurtured and lead an amazing and committed team of volunteer stewards who dedicate their time at Glastonbury Festival. These amazing people ensure that the attending public and artists have a safe and enjoyable time at the festival. They work through the night in one of the most exciting and 'out-there' areas of the festival and deal with everything from the mundane to the wild and outrageous, as you would expect at Glasto. In return, we raise money, through Rotary, for local charities, hospices and charitable organisations. To date we have raised in excess £30,000
